About the Role

Bestow is the leading platform for life and annuity carriers, and we're scaling fast. The Director of Product Marketing sets platform positioning strategy and leads go-to-market for Bestow's most important launches, working closely with the CMO, executive team, and stakeholders across the business to shape how the company's innovation narrative evolves alongside the business. You'll build strong partnerships across Product, Sales, and Communications, bringing each function along early and turning competing priorities into a single, clear story the whole company can execute against. You'll have real autonomy to set direction and real influence over how leadership thinks about market strategy. This role reports to the CMO and is open to hybrid in our Dallas office or Remote (US).

Responsibilities

  • Own Bestow's platform positioning and messaging strategy, and be the senior voice on how that story evolves as the product, market, and competitive landscape shift.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for major launches, making the final call on sequencing and priorities across Product, Sales, Communications, and Marketing.
  • Build proactive, trusted partnerships across Product, Sales, and Communications, aligning stakeholders early so launches and narratives move fast without last-minute scrambles.
  • Set the strategy and quality bar for sales enablement, pitch decks, battle cards, and competitive intelligence, and build the team and process to maintain it at scale.
  • Bring market, buyer, and competitive insight into executive conversations, influencing roadmap, positioning, and business strategy decisions.
  • Own the measurement framework connecting product marketing to pipeline and win rates, using it to guide investment and resourcing.
  • Grow the product marketing function over time, bringing on and developing team members as Bestow's needs scale.

Requirements

  • Significant product marketing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology at a senior/leadership level, with a track record of increasing scope.
  • A trusted strategic partner to executives and cross-functional stakeholders, comfortable shaping company-level narrative and GTM decisions, not just executing on them.
  • A compelling storyteller who can take a complex, technical platform and make it land clearly with a sophisticated enterprise audience.
  • Strong positioning and launch instincts, setting direction from ambiguity and driving it through execution with minimal oversight.
  • Experience building and scaling both sales enablement and a product marketing team.
  • Experience in fintech, insurtech, or a platform business is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and fluency using AI tools to accelerate research, content, and GTM speed.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity based on role
  • Policies and managers that support work/life balance, like flexible paid time off and parental leave programs
  • 100% paid-premium option for medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Lifestyle stipend to support your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing
  • Flexible work-from-home policy and open to remote
  • Remote and WFH options, as well as a state-of-the-art office in Dallas’ Deep Ellum for those who prefer an office setting
  • Employee-led diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
