The Director, Product Management, is part of the Analytics & Investments (AIM) team within the Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM) organization at American Express. This role leads the team responsible for advancing the commercial prospect database and enterprise data services ecosystem to drive revenue growth across prospect and customer marketing and sales channels. The Director will partner closely with stakeholders across AIM, GCSM, Global Commercial Services, and Enterprise organizations to deliver AI-enabled, cloud-based data products and innovative solutions that enhance customer acquisition, lead management, and business performance. This highly visible leadership role represents a unique opportunity to influence enterprise strategy and deliver incremental revenue impact exceeding $100 million. Responsibilities Lead the strategy, development, and evolution of the centralized commercial prospect database and enterprise data services ecosystem.Leverage Big Data/cloud-native data platforms and API capabilities to develop and scale innovative proof-of-concept solutions.Serve as the Product Owner for the commercial prospect database and prospect data platforms, defining the product vision, roadmap, and investment priorities.Partner with Marketing, Sales, Data Science, and Technology teams to deliver data, AI, and analytics solutions that accelerate customer acquisition and business growth.Lead the transformation of global lead management capabilities through Machine Learning, Generative AI, and next-generation data services.Drive modernization of the commercial prospect database through cloud-based platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, and strong data governance.Build and manage strategic relationships with external data, technology, and AI platform providers to maximize business value. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience leading enterprise data platforms, data products, or data services. Experience defining product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for enterprise data platforms. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) and modern data technologies. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed organization. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI applications. Experience with commercial prospect databases, CRM, MarTech, or customer data platforms. Experience managing strategic technology and data vendor relationships. Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Portfolio Management, or similar Agile delivery methodologies, with a demonstrated track record of flexibility, resilience, and a strong can-do attitude.
