Director, Product Design

For our client, a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space, we are seeking a Director of Product Design to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture and execution quality in a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Bellevue, WA – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire multiple teams of product designers delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences
• Define and drive a long-term design vision and strategy focused on delivering Connected Care
• Drive innovation through bold, customer-centric thinking
• Create cohesive, scalable experiences across platforms and devices to deliver business growth
• Ensure UX excellence, accessibility, and consistency for health and the company ecosystem
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, research, and business leaders
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing design team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 15+ years of experience in UX/Product Design
• 10+ years of experience leading design teams including managers
• Expertise in user interface design, information architecture, interaction design, and user-centered design methodologies
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities across all levels of the organization
• High judgment, strong analytical thinking, and decision-making skills

Pay

$204,500 – $300,000 annually
