Director, Product Design (AI Experience)

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Define UX vision for AI-driven experiences
• Influence product direction through partnership with leadership
• Tackle complex UX challenges in data-dense environments
• Engage in hands-on design work and prototyping
• Establish high standards for AI-native design across the platform
• Contribute to the evolution of the design system
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior designers
• Effectively communicate proposals grounded in user evidence and business impact

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design experience in technical and product-driven companies
• 3+ years of management experience preferred
• Proven track record of owning product experiences
• Strong opinions on design coupled with openness to evidence-based change
• Experience with AI-driven products focusing on trust and control
• Proficiency in prototyping, especially with React and modern front-end frameworks
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams

Pay

$224,000 – $308,000 annually
