About the role

The Director, Platforms & Infrastructure at Tyto Athene, LLC is responsible for overseeing the development and management of autonomous mission infrastructure. This includes ensuring that all systems are scalable, secure, and meet the highest standards of performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, data scientists, and operations staff to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead technical reviews and provide guidance on best practices for system architecture and design.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of services.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on mission-critical systems.
• A proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to deployment.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional certifications in IT infrastructure management (e.g., CISSP, CISM).

Pay

• $232,903 per year for the Director, Platforms & Infrastructure position.
• $194,646 per year for the Mission Engineer position.
• $222,519 per year for the Platform/Infrastructure Engineer position.
• $160,180 per year for the Data Platform/Infrastructure Engineer position.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
