Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall account management strategy for a diverse portfolio of platform partners, aligning priorities with broader business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing account management organization focused on accountability, growth, and operational excellence.
- Drive portfolio performance across partner retention, expansion, adoption, operational health, and long-term relationship value.
- Navigate complex challenges by balancing partner needs, internal capabilities, and long-term strategic goals.
- Establish scalable operating models, processes, performance frameworks, and business rhythms that improve efficiency and partner experiences.
- Use market insights, portfolio trends, and partner feedback to influence commercial strategy and organizational priorities.
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve partner engagement, strengthen platform performance, and accelerate business growth.
- Support complex negotiations, escalations, and strategic initiatives requiring executive-level judgment and collaboration.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, customer success, business development, consulting, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading customer-facing teams and developing high-performing organizations.
- Strong background influencing organizational strategy, operating models, and cross-functional decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise relationships and build trusted partnerships with senior executives.
- Experience driving measurable business results through portfolio growth, retention strategies, and operational improvements.
- Strong analytical and business judgment skills with the ability to solve ambiguous problems and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to influence across teams without direct authority and align diverse groups around shared objectives.
- Experience working in fintech, payments, commerce, SaaS, platforms, or other technology-driven industries preferred.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to combine strategic thinking, empathy, and operational discipline.

- Competitive on-target earnings compensation: $275,000 - $350,000 USD annually for candidates located in CA, WA, NY, NJ, or CT. $243,750 - $318,750 USD annually for candidates located in other U.S. states.
