Director, People Business Partner

For our client, a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking a Director People Business Partner to advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience.

About the role

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team, focusing on their training, development, and overall performance
• Translate business strategies into People agendas, foreseeing future workforce impacts
• Advise senior leaders on organizational design and capability gaps, ensuring strategic alignment
• Champion organizational design that accommodates a hybrid workforce of humans and AI
• Plan and implement strategic HR initiatives that support departmental and organizational goals
• Interpret and guide on company policies, guiding sensitive employee relations and performance issues
• Engage and negotiate with stakeholders to maintain strong internal and external relationships

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in people strategy, organizational culture, or operating model design with demonstrated execution
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be acceptable
• Proven record of facilitating major organizational changes in complex environments
• Strong influencing skills without direct authority and ability to motivate teams
• Experience in communicating sensitive and complex information effectively
• Exposure to executive-level communications and internal strategy development
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in operational contexts

Pay

$160,000 – $200,000 annually
