Director Payroll Analytics & Customer Support

Remote (US‑based) position with a leader in the Education, Government & Non‑Profit sector, overseeing payroll analytics, reporting, and customer support operations. The role partners with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate payroll trends into actionable insights, drive process standardization, cost optimization, and operational effectiveness in a complex, multi‑union environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of payroll analytics strategy and key performance indicators.
• Analyze payroll trends and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Provide executive‑level reporting to senior leadership.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to support data‑driven decisions.
• Oversee report design and ensure data integrity.
• Lead customer support operations for payroll services.
• Drive process standardization and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll/HR multi‑union environments.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or supporting role.
• Strong understanding of wage and hour regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience managing high‑performing teams.

Pay

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually.
