Director, Payment Operations

Location: New York, NY – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually.

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to ensure timely settlements of crypto and fiat funds
• Develop programs to quickly resolve discrepancies through extensive coordination
• Support integration of exchange and bank data into operational processes
• Drive the automation of reconciliation across various product lines
• Evaluate risks and requirements for different asset types to quickly adapt to market changes
• Document and refine operational flows, becoming the subject matter expert
• Provide continuous support for a global customer base around the clock

Requirements

• 10+ years in operations focused on payment services or trading with 3-5 years in a leadership role
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments
• In-depth knowledge of payment services, markets, and reconciliation principles
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and VBA
• Experience in establishing connectivity with banks, exchanges, or crypto platforms
• Familiarity with automation processes and crafting SQL queries
