Job Overview

RWJ Barnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director of Patient Care for our Post Intensive Care Unit-III (2North) at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• 4 years of Medical/Surgical or Telemetry Supervisory experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• MSN preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required

• BLS Certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Scheduling Requirements

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• Monday-Friday (salaried position)

Essential Functions

• Provides nursing care oversight
• Affirms safety in practice and maintains evidence-based practice
• Prevents and reports safety issues
• Knowledgeable about patient population served
• Supervises and directs delegation of tasks
• Consistently sets and evaluates priorities
• Drives operational efficiency and high performance in patient and family experiences
