This senior partnerships role will lead strategic relationships with high-profile brands and external partners across the digital media and sports landscape. You will own key accounts, develop growth strategies, and help expand long-term commercial relationships. The position combines relationship management, revenue growth, campaign execution, and data-driven account optimization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for top-tier existing and prospective partners, building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with partner objectives, satisfaction goals, and revenue targets.
- Work closely with senior partnerships leadership to identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and drive incremental revenue.
- Coordinate with production, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure partnership campaigns and deliverables are executed successfully and on schedule.
- Analyze campaign and partnership performance data, conduct post-campaign reviews, and identify insights that create additional value for partners and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare regular performance reports, recommendations, and strategic updates for internal and external audiences.
- Organize partner meetings, status updates, and internal coordination to maintain alignment across stakeholders.
- Monitor trends, developments, and best practices across soccer, sports media, digital content, and partnerships, sharing relevant insights with senior leadership.
- Develop creative partnership concepts and create or customize compelling pitch decks and presentations for prospective clients and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, account management, business development, or a comparable commercial environment, preferably within digital media.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar partnership budgets involving enterprise, high-profile, or strategically important brands.
- Demonstrated ability to develop sponsorship and partnership packages informed by trends in soccer, sports, digital media, and audience engagement.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience evaluating partnership or campaign performance data and turning findings into actionable recommendations.
- Professional experience within soccer, sports media, football, or related partnership environments.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues beyond core responsibilities when needed.
- Flexibility to accommodate important events, partner needs, and time-sensitive situations outside standard working hours when necessary.
- Demonstrated empathy, passion, courage, and enthusiasm for football and the broader sports media ecosystem.
