Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of brand and agency partners across key verticals, with a focus on the New York market
- Execute the full sales cycle — prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing — with minimal hand-holding
- Deliver against an annual revenue target with accountability for deal volume and contract value
- Collaborate with the VP of Partnerships to refine sponsorship packaging, pricing, and go-to-market positioning
- Manage partner relationships post-close including on-site hosting at IDL events and proactive client management to drive retention and renewals
- Represent IDL at industry events, activations, and client meetings in New York and beyond
- Contribute market intelligence and client feedback to inform league strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of partnership sales or sponsorship experience, ideally in sports, entertainment, or media
- Demonstrated track record closing five- and six-figure deals with brand marketers and agency buyers
- Existing relationships with brands and agencies in the New York market
- A sharp communicator who can sell a vision and translate it into a compelling commercial proposal
- Comfortable operating in a startup environment: resourceful, self-directed, and adaptable
- A disciplined approach to pipeline management
