Director, Operations and Strategy, Risk and Security

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Risk and Security leadership, advancing priorities with the CSRO
• Facilitate senior executive meetings and prepare high-level briefings and materials
• Translate enterprise strategy into actionable roadmaps and operational initiatives
• Manage portfolio governance and prioritize Risk and Security initiatives based on value realization
• Oversee enterprise security culture efforts and coordinate engagement training programs
• Embed security requirements into business unit plans and provide visibility into security posture
• Direct financial planning and cost management for the Risk and Security organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
• 10+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, enterprise risk, or business operations, including cross-functional leadership
• Expertise in strategic planning, portfolio management, and governance
• Exceptional communication skills tailored for executive storytelling and influence
• Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Understanding of security awareness and risk management programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications include ITIL, PMP, Agile methodologies, and security certifications

Pay

$148,300 – $266,900 annually
