Director of White Glove Logistics & Transportation

For our client, a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space, we are seeking a Director of White Glove Logistics & Transportation to join their team. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own long-term logistics strategy for White Glove business in North America
• Design an optimized network balancing delivery speed, cost, and customer experience
• Evaluate inventory storage based on customer demand and growth
• Develop multi-year plans for network expansion to support growth
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations while improving transit times
• Manage transportation strategies across the supply chain stages
• Optimize shipment consolidation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Source and onboard logistics vendors and negotiate contracts

Qualifications

• 10+ years in logistics, transportation, fulfillment, or supply chain leadership
• 5+ years managing third-party logistics providers, owning performance and commercial terms
• Experience with multi-node distribution networks, including inventory positioning
• Proficient in managing White Glove and oversized delivery networks
• Expertise in transportation sourcing and large RFP processes
• Strong financial and analytical skills for cost modeling and data analysis
• Ability to create executive dashboards and KPI reports
• Proven leader in cross-functional projects and influencing roles
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills

Pay

$186,000 – $248,000 annually
