About the role
The Claiborne at Johns Creek, a Claiborne Senior Living managed community, is seeking a clinically strong and people-focused Director of Wellness (DOW) to lead health services. This role is ideal for a nurse leader who takes ownership of clinical outcomes, acts with integrity, remains focused on resident safety, and believes culture truly matters.
We prefer an RN; however, qualified LPN candidates with strong leadership experience are encouraged to apply (in accordance with state-specific regulations).

Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical services and resident care operations
- Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and company policies
- Lead Health Services Evaluations (HSEs) and service planning
- Monitor quality indicators, incident trends, and change-of-condition processes
- Supervise and develop LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs, and caregivers
- Manage medication systems, pharmacy partnerships, and documentation standards
- Support family communication and care conferences
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and quality audits
- Drive a culture of safety, integrity, and clinical excellence
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
- Multi-state experience a plus
- Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical operations
- Experience supervising and coaching clinical team members
