About the role

The Director of Wellness (DOW) at Claiborne Senior Living is responsible for leading clinical operations within a supportive senior living environment. The role requires a clinically strong and people-focused individual who can influence resident outcomes, team development, and quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical services and resident care operations
• Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and company policies
• Lead Health Services Evaluations (HSEs) and service planning
• Monitor quality indicators, incident trends, and change-of-condition processes
• Supervise and develop LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs, and caregivers
• Manage medication systems, pharmacy partnerships, and documentation standards
• Support family communication and care conferences
• Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and quality audits
• Drive a culture of safety, integrity, and clinical excellence

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
• Multi-state experience a plus
• Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical operations
• Experience supervising and coaching clinical team members
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead with accountability and professionalism
