Director of Vascular Services

About the role

The Director of Vascular Services and Stroke will oversee the development and implementation of strategic, programmatic, and operational planning for the Vascular and Stroke service line at Oklahoma State University Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and business planning for the service line
• Achieving top decile performance in value-based purchasing and quality indicators
• Improving quality, standardizing protocols, maintaining regulatory compliance, policies, and clinical pathways
• Increasing physician engagement and adoption of practice changes
• Navigating the role with multiple departments across the enterprise, including Cath Lab, Dialysis, Sleep Medicine, Wound Care, Mobile Cardiology, and the stroke program
• Collaborating with the VA hospital in downtown Tulsa to provide vascular services to its patients

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• BLS, ACLS certification
• More than 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with vascular experience preferred
• Experience working in an academic setting with chairs, fellows, residents, and medical students
• Strong financial acumen and ability to develop proposals
