Position Summary The Director of Transportation & Warehousing provides strategic and operational leadership for the national transportation, freight, warehousing, and inventory functions within the 02S Logistics Pillar. This leader develops standardized operating models, scalable service offerings, and national supplier partnerships that improve project execution, operational efficiency, and customer experience across McCarthy. Working closely with regional operations and cross-functional partners, the Director ensures transportation and warehousing services are safe, consistent, financially sustainable, and aligned with McCarthy's business objectives. Responsibilities Develop and execute the national transportation and warehousing strategy aligned with the 02S Annual Operating Plan.Standardize transportation, dispatch, routing, freight management, warehousing, inventory control, and fulfillment processes.Lead development of scalable transportation and storage solutions supporting project mobilization, execution, and demobilization.Establish national operating procedures, service levels, KPIs, and governance for transportation and warehouse operations.Develop and manage strategic relationships with carriers, warehouses, third-party logistics providers, and key suppliers.Partner with regional operations, Procurement, Equipment, Prefabrication, Field Solutions, Finance, and project teams to deliver integrated logistics solutions.Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, technology adoption, analytics, and operational best practices.Support development of budgets, pricing models, cost recovery strategies, and financial performance reporting.Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, quality, and risk management requirements.Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing national transportation and warehousing organization while fostering McCarthy's employee-owner culture. For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $180,000-$200,000, depending on location. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
