About the role
Build Something From the Ground Up. We’re looking for a Director, Supply Chain Operations who is excited by the opportunity to build. Rather than stepping into an established function, you’ll have the opportunity to create our Supply Chain operation from the ground up—shaping the strategy, developing processes, building supplier relationships, introducing tools and systems, and ultimately helping build the team. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain professional who wants to make a meaningful impact, expand their leadership experience, and create something they can point to and say, “I built that.”
Responsibilities
- Build the organization’s Supply Chain strategy, operating model, and roadmap.
- Develop processes for sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, fulfillment, and Supply Operations.
- Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with suppliers and strategic partners.
- Establish purchasing, vendor-management, and supplier-performance practices.
- Build demand planning, forecasting, inventory, and replenishment processes.
- Help create scalable logistics, distribution, and fulfillment operations.
- Identify Supply Chain risks and develop practical contingency plans.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure performance and improve decision-making.
- Identify technology and automation opportunities that make Supply Chain operations more efficient.
- Partner across Operations, Finance, Product, Technology, and other teams.
