Director of Supply Chain

About the role

As the Director, Supply Chain Management, you will lead Rosendin's national end-to-end supply chain strategy, focusing on the manufacturing vertical. This role involves synchronizing logistics, fleet, and material management operations with pre-construction and estimating departments to support large-scale electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• National Warehouse & Logistics Oversight
• Optimize the national logistics network
• Standardize material handling procedures
• Implement advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Partner with Pre-Construction and Estimating teams for material needs forecasting
• Develop a robust Material Recirculation Program
• Lead reduction of overall supply chain risk
• Drive digital transformation by integrating supply chain data
• Coordinate and align supply chain data with strategic distribution and supplier partners
• Strategic Leadership & Vendor Relations
• Build a strong multi-locational team atmosphere
• Ensure teams are working cross-functionally to meet corporate goals
• Mentor, guide, and coach direct reports
• Staff Management
• Effectively manage a multi-locational team
• Proactively recruit, screen, and select candidates
• Ensure each employee has a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities
• Collaborate with human resources to keep job descriptions current
• Utilize the company’s performance management program

Requirements

• Over 17 years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, contract management, project management, or related roles
• At least 7 years in a leadership position
• Demonstrated experience developing supply chain management strategies
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) via contracts or Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) Certification preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion and BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
• Ability to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat, and software systems
• Physical demands include mobility (on ground and at heights), use of PPE, and exposure to noise levels, equipment, and tools
