Director of Student Services - Arlington Campus

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Associate Dean to ensure a quality student experience through strategic planning
• Develop and implement student engagement plans, including surveys to assess trends
• Manage a portfolio of services and resources for student support at the Arlington campus
• Build relationships with internal departments to enhance student services accessibility
• Oversee comprehensive student programming focused on various developmental areas
• Lead campus orientation and develop signature events that foster community
• Supervise staff and promote a positive team culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in Student Affairs or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in academic and/or student life roles in a higher education context
• Demonstrated leadership in developing and managing student success programming and services
• Strong advocacy skills with a student-centered approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, managing stakeholder expectations
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility and capacity to prioritize in a fast-paced organization
