About the role
The Director of Structural Engineering oversees all structural engineering projects within the company, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards. This role requires extensive knowledge in structural analysis and design.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of structural systems for new and existing buildings.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve complex structural issues.
- Lead the development of new structural engineering methodologies and tools.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Experience with advanced structural analysis software.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay

Schedule
