Director of Special Projects
About the role
The Director of Special Projects leads fast-paced, high-touch projects in Skanska's Special Projects Group (SPG). Responsibilities
- Provides overall leadership for multiple projects by dedicated Project Management Teams.
- Assembles, develops, and guides these teams from pursuit to closeout.
- Plans and oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle including budgeting, scheduling, organization, implementation, and execution ensuring projects are delivered safely, ethically, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Oversees a smooth transition from the estimate/pre-construction phase to construction in order to protect the bid position.
- Plays a strategic part in business development for the Seattle Market.
Requirements
- 8+ years proven track record of assuring client satisfaction.
- 8+ years track record of delivering on-time projects.
- 8+ years of experience maintaining or exceeding planned profit targets for projects.
- 8+ years creating and maintaining a culture of safety.
- 8+ years experience developing a culture of quality assurance and control.
- 8+ years managing and developing successful teams and ability to balance multiple assignments.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.

Pay
Salary Low USD $151,455.00/Yr. Salary High USD $206,500.00/Yr.
