About the role
The Summit at Snoqualmie is seeking a dynamic Director of Snow Sports to lead one of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic mountain resort operations. This senior leadership role oversees all snow sports education and competitive programs across four base areas, including Alpine, Snowboard, Nordic, Race, Freestyle, and Freeride. The ideal candidate brings a collaborative approach to leadership, a passion for guest experience, and the strategic vision to grow participation across all skill levels and demographics. Most importantly, supporting a team dedicated to growing through snow sports education.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all snow sports education and competitive programs across four base areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement programs that enhance guest experience
- Strategically plan and execute initiatives to grow participation in snow sports across all skill levels and demographics
- Support a team dedicated to growing through snow sports education
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership position
- Proven track record of successfully leading and growing programs in the snow sports industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and engagement
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Education in a related field preferred, but not required
- Passion for snow sports and a commitment to guest experience
