Hybrid role based in Chandler, AZ: 4 days on-site at the headquarters and 1 day remote.
About the role
Lead the company’s SEC reporting function, including ownership of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, technical accounting matters, equity reporting, SOX compliance, and reporting process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own the authoring, preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
- Oversee Section 16 reporting, including Forms 3, 4, and 5.
- Support equity accounting activities, including grants, vesting, distributions, and related reporting.
- Partner with Fidelity on equity administration processes.
- Manage and review the work of the SEC Reporting team.
- Provide leadership and support to the SEC Reporting Manager.
- Assist with month-end close activities.
- Support consolidations and technical accounting matters.
- Support disclosure controls and SOX compliance initiatives.
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors on SEC reporting and technical accounting matters.
- Drive process improvements across reporting and close activities.
Requirements
- Public company SEC reporting experience.
- Direct experience preparing and filing Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
- Experience with Section 16 reporting, including Forms 3, 4, and 5.
- Technical accounting experience.
- Experience with disclosure controls and SOX compliance.
- Experience reviewing work and managing reporting processes.
- Consolidations experience.
- Strong process improvement mindset.
- CPA preferred.
