Director of Sales - Retirement Solutions (North Carolina)

Responsibilities

• Drive retirement plan sales throughout the market by calling on advisors to promote the sale of defined contribution and defined benefit products targeted for retirement plans in the 0 - 10M AUM space or 0-25M AUM for the right experience.
• Build and establish relationships with financial advisors and third party administrators.
• Collaborate with the relationship management team to pursue additional sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of retirement sales experience with deep knowledge on retirement products.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to meet or exceed established goals.
• Excellent consultation and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, capital markets, and financial service products.
• Experience with non-qualified plans, defined benefit and ESOP’s a bonus!
• Licenses Required within 5 months of employment: Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63). Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained.

Pay

This position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings. The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $90000 - $90000 / year. Heavy incentive component in addition to salary listed.

• Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
