Responsibilities
- Establish long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, and apply value selling methodologies to align solutions with customer business outcomes.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities, lead business negotiations, and gain extensive knowledge and analysis of current market conditions using business and commercial intelligence and data.
- Establish new and maintain existing sales channels along with targeted incentive programs.
- Build a high-performing commercial team and network utilizing modern tools and approaches, including driving the proper use of Salesforce CRM.
- Directly responsible for company revenue generation, forecasting, and product pricing guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a weekly activities management report, including a detailed dashboard to track and communicate key commercial indicators, market trends, customer trends, and risks and opportunities.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement marketing plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
- Establish and maintain marketing, communication, and event planning in collaboration with the Divisional MARCOM team.
- Recommend and define existing product performance updates and new product development targets.
- Drive business growth and market expansion by identifying and executing data-driven sales strategies, uncovering new revenue opportunities, and expanding market share across the CTA product portfolio.
- Lead commercial strategy and sales performance management, including pricing governance, sales forecasting, budgeting, KPI development, and incentive programs that align with corporate objectives and profitability targets.
- Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools (Salesforce, SAP, and analytics platforms) to optimize customer segmentation, identify sales coverage gaps, strengthen pipeline management, and improve revenue forecasting accuracy.
- Develop and enable high-performing sales channels by leading training initiatives for direct sales teams, agents, distributors, and partner networks to maximize product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales effectiveness.
- Champion customer experience and continuous improvement by overseeing customer satisfaction programs, analyzing market and customer feedback, and driving corrective actions to enhance service quality, retention, and long-term business success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business or a technical discipline; MBA preferred.
- Five years or more of sales management experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Extensive experience in cutting tools and/or abrasives and their application to machine tools.
- Must demonstrate the capability to be highly involved, manage details, and successfully direct both sales and technical teams.
- Ability to work under self-imposed schedules and goals with minimal guidance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration, team building, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma training a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Proficient with and understanding of CRM; Salesforce experience a plus.
