Summary
The Director of Resident Health Services oversees the healthcare needs for residents in various living arrangements, supervises CareOne Home Care, and manages a Care Suites Supervisor. Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison, conducting resident assessments, supervising staff, managing budgets, and participating in committees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and medical personnel.
- Conduct resident assessments and coordinate with other staff and physicians.
- Supervise, train, and manage the performance of the assisted living memory care LVN manager, CareOne Home Care, and Care Suites Supervisor.
- Maintain medical records and monitor residents' health.
- Interpret regulatory and company policies to ensure resident care needs are met and report changes of condition.
- Create and monitor the departmental budget, including reporting variances.
- Participate in Resident Care Conference, CQI, Resident Health Committee, and other committees as directed.
Education / Experience
- Current LVN or RN in good standing per state regulations.
- A minimum of 3 years working in a healthcare setting, preferably with seniors.
- Working knowledge of RCFE Title 22 regulations and experience with medical records maintenance.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Must be computer literate with experience using e-mail and Windows based software.
