Director of Rehab - Physical Therapist

About the role

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking an experienced Rehab Director for a full-time role with an area client. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and training staff, developing therapy strategies, evaluating patient care, and coordinating rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train staff
• Develop and implement therapy strategies
• Evaluate patient care
• Career development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and quality assurance processes
• Create and manage staff schedules and caseload distribution
• Experience with patient care evaluation, outcome measurement, and care coordination
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic data reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with a bachelor’s or associate degree
• Active state license in Florida required to start
• Previous management or lead clinician experience in an outpatient therapy setting preferred
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and onboarding clinical staff
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing clinical policies, procedures, and quality assurance processes
• Ability to create and manage staff schedules and caseload distribution
• Experience with patient care evaluation, outcome measurement, and care coordination
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic data reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in physical therapy
• Current active state license in Florida
• Experience in outpatient therapy settings
• Proven ability to manage staff and caseloads
• Experience with EMR systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
