Director of Rehab (DOR) In House (PT PTA OT OTA SLP)

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Laona, WI. This position is for a Director of Rehabilitation (PT, PTA, SLP, OT, or COTA) at an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. The Director is responsible for all aspects of therapy operations at the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices of the company under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the therapy program in assigned facility/facilities.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, processes and guidelines, job description, certification requirements, HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and resident rights.
• Establish facility-specific procedures in collaboration with the facility interdisciplinary team and train all therapy staff on established procedures.
• Ensure all therapists provide therapy services in accordance with regulatory requirements, established standards of practice, Company policies and procedures, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
• Ensure all therapists adhere to regulatory requirements and Company procedures regarding documentation and billing of therapy services.
• Communicate and interact professionally and respectfully with patients and family members in attending to and meeting their requests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the position and are in the best interests of the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology
• Must have active licensure (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP) in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal leadership and communication skills
• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
