Director of Rehab

Job Summary

As a Director of Rehab at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster in Lincoln, Nebraska, you will lead a team of rehabilitation professionals in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead rehabilitation programs: Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs that meet the needs of our residents.
• Manage staff: Supervise and mentor a team of rehabilitation therapists, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
• Ensure quality care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Monitor outcomes: Track patient outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve rehabilitation programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay up to date with industry developments: Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Preferred 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Active Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, COTA or PTA License in Nebraska.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required.
