Director of Recruiting (Volunteer)

About the role

The Volunteer Director of Recruiting will play a pivotal role in expanding our mentorship programs by attracting, engaging, and onboarding qualified volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of volunteers.
• Organize and participate in community outreach events, information sessions, and volunteer fairs to promote mentorship opportunities.
• Screen and interview potential volunteers to ensure they align with our values and mission.
• Collaborate with team members to create training materials and onboarding processes for new volunteers.
• Maintain accurate records of applicants and volunteers in our recruitment database.
• Partner with other departments to understand volunteer needs and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to the leadership team on progress and areas for improvement.
