Director of Real Estate

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Real Estate to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Energy & Utilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
• Manage multiple real estate projects with attention to timelines and budgets
• Develop financial analyses to support real estate decisions
• Conduct thorough market and site evaluations for potential real estate opportunities
• Present detailed analyses and recommendations to executive leadership
• Draft and negotiate Letters of Intent and manage stakeholder communications
• Establish standardized policies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency
• Drive initiatives to optimize the real estate portfolio and reduce costs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate or project management
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a related field
• Proven skills in structuring and negotiating real estate transactions
• Strong grasp of real estate law and financial principles
• Advanced financial analysis capabilities, particularly in lease modeling
• Familiarity with commercial real estate software like Argus or MRI

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay: $165,000 – $175,000 annually
