Director of Quality Performance - Registered Nurse
About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Director of Quality Performance serving our patients in the Augusta area. This position works closely and collaboratively with physicians and regional leadership, based in our Augusta office.
This is a full-time, salaried position with an 8-hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the care team for MDs and DOs, providing clinical oversight of patients.
- Ensure accurate patient diagnoses, control healthcare costs, and optimize the quality of care as a Value-Based healthcare provider.
- Manage a team of primary care providers, clinical coordinators, social workers, and case managers.
- Oversee staff productivity, quality care services, and reduction of unnecessary healthcare costs.
- Support a culture of compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate closely with care group members and regional leadership.
Requirements
- Licensed nurse or equivalent healthcare qualifications required; Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of primary care billing and healthcare cost reduction strategies is a plus.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstances.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Team player with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order, in accordance with state and organizational requirements.
