Director of Quality Improvement

About the role

Tully Hill Treatment and Recovery is a 50-bed Inpatient Detox, Rehabilitation and Outpatient substance use disorder treatment center established in 1990. The Controller position is open for an experienced professional to join the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for Tully Hill’s finance and support functions including payroll processing.
• Oversee the management of patients’ private insurance account receivables to ensure timely filing and collection of claims.
• Cook up current information on Tully Hill’s fiscal operations including financial statements, budgets and implementation, case forecasts, contractual obligations and reimbursement issues.
• Provide leadership and cultivate a team environment among direct reports and peers.

Requirements

• A professional, team-oriented individual with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills are required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and financial skills are required.
• A bachelor’s degree in business/accounting or a related field, or equivalent education/experience, is preferred.
• A CPA certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, is required.

• Must have the capacity to provide leadership.
• Must possess creative problem-solving ability.

Skills

• Strong organizational, analytical, and financial skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems.

The salary range is provided in accordance with NYS law and is based on Tully Hill's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting.
