Director of Quality Assurance Engineering

For our client, a leader in the Technical Services space, we are seeking a Director of Quality Assurance Engineering to join their team. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Technical Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Rethink QA methodologies for AI-generated code
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Quality Engineers
• Represent quality metrics to executive leadership
• Own AI-driven technical quality architecture
• Establish release quality standards and criteria
• Partner with platform and MLE on AI evaluation methodologies

Requirements

• 10+ years of software quality engineering experience
• 4+ years in a leadership role
• 2+ years driving strategy in AI-accelerated development
• Experience in transforming a quality function at scale
• Strong familiarity with evaluating AI-generated tests for accuracy

Pay

$225,000 – $245,000 annually
