Core Responsibilities
- Proactively builds and manages strategic relationships with internal and external business partners
- Works collaboratively with internal business partners to identify, assess and support the implementation of business strategies and growth opportunities
- Develops implementation strategies for key advanced payments products (e.g. EMV, Transit, Protect Buy and digital payments)
- Provides thought leadership to other teams through analysis and strategy, client engagement, legal approvals and opportunity assessments
- Ensures adequate resources (production capacity) exists to support the on-going support activities and prioritized development projects needed to both support and grow the Payments business
- Afford opportunities to improve product delivery processes and drive continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 8 years of project management, change management, business consulting or operations experience within the payments industry
- At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal or external business clients
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management, change management, business consulting or operations experience within the payments industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 5+ years of experience leading process improvement initiatives
Pay
Salaries for this role are listed below, by location:
- Mclean, VA: $206,000 - $235,100 for Director, Project Management
- Riverwoods, IL: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Project Management
