Director of Production

About the role

This role will oversee end-to-end production for photo, video, and content shoots that support the brand’s marketing and content needs. The Director of Production will partner closely with creative, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure projects move efficiently from brief through delivery while maintaining high standards for quality and execution. This is a highly visible role that will shape production strategy, build scalable workflows, and help ensure the organization can deliver impactful campaigns on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of production for photo, video, and content shoots.
• Oversee projects from brief to delivery, including pre-production and post-production.
• Act as producer on key shoots and ensure proper production staffing for others.
• Manage and track the annual production budget and project-specific budgets.
• Source and manage a roster of production companies and freelance talent.
• Design and implement a production calendar that aligns with business needs.
• Create efficient workflows and adopt new tools to enhance production processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production experience, including 3+ years in a senior role.
• Experience in-house, at a creative agency, or production company, ideally a mix.
• Proven track record in producing large-scale photo and video campaigns.
• Strong budget management skills with experience handling multimillion-dollar budgets.
• Extensive network of production partners and talent, with sound judgment for project matching.
• Knowledge of talent contracts, usage rights, and union regulations.
• Experience establishing production processes from the ground up.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in dynamic environments.

Compensation

$160,000 – $170,000 annually.
