Director of Production

Position Summary

A global company is seeking a bilingual Director of Production to oversee production management, game launches, and live operations in the North American market. This role will collaborate closely with executive leadership, overseas teams, and internal stakeholders to drive project success and lead the Production team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Production team.
• Oversee game production, launch, and live operations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with overseas development teams and provide North American market insights.
• Improve operational processes and team efficiency.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Support business development and partnership opportunities.
• Participate in recruitment and team-building efforts.
• Attend industry events and represent the company when needed.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese and business-level English required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in game production or publishing.
• Experience shipping at least 3 console game titles from development through launch.
• Current or previous experience as a Producer, Senior Producer, Executive Producer, or similar role.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of game publishing, live operations, localization, and QA processes.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with teams in Japan.
• Director experience not required. Senior Producer or Producer-level candidates are welcome.

Pay

SALARY USD 130,000 - 160,000
