Director of Product, Risk & Response

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Responsibilities

• Define and execute a cohesive product strategy for underwriting, claims, and security as a unified risk lifecycle
• Develop, mentor, and manage a team of product managers across three distinct areas
• Ensure feedback loops between underwriting, claims, and security are effective and actionable
• Manage product features that enhance security adoption and transition users to premium offerings
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to enhance automated decision-making processes
• Oversee major platform changes and system migrations collaboratively with engineering partners
• Establish and track success metrics that reflect the entire portfolio's performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, particularly in multi-domain settings
• Proven leadership in developing product managers through coaching and performance management
• Experience in platform migrations and systems transformations
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders without formal authority
• Background in data-heavy product areas with engineering partnerships
• Familiarity with AI tools in product development
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive innovation across interconnected domains

Pay

$200,000 – $260,000 annually
