The Director of Product Management will lead and scale the teams behind two critical domains: Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement. This role requires 10+ years of product management experience, including 3-5 years managing and developing PM teams.

Loans Lifecycle

  • Define the multi-year product strategy for foundational loan systems, ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and capable of supporting rapid product innovation.
  • Translate vision into clear roadmaps and decisions that teams can execute against.
  • Set the bar for craft, create development paths, and cultivate a culture of ownership, rigor, and candor.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, and Client Success teams.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment at scale.
  • Enable platform scalability and international expansion.
  • Measure and improve platform health.
  • Influence up and across the organization.

Money Movement

  • Own the vision and strategy for Money Movement.
  • Define the multi-year product strategy for global money movement infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, compliant, and capable of supporting rapid product innovation.
  • Translate vision into clear roadmaps and decisions that teams can execute against.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, and Client Success teams.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment at scale.
  • Enable platform scalability and international expansion.
  • Measure and improve platform health.
  • Influence up and across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience in loans or lending systems.
  • Meaningful experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, or financial operations.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or banking.
  • Strong technical fluency.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and execute long-term platform strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Pay & Benefits

Base pay ranges from $267,000 - $327,000 per year in the United States, depending on location and experience. Affirm offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care coverage, flexible spending wallets, time off, ESPP, and more. Remote work is encouraged, with some roles requiring occasional office visits.
