Director of Product Designer
Field sales powers the economy, but many teams are burdened by admin work and lack real‑time visibility. Siro is redefining how field sales teams learn, perform, and win with an AI‑powered platform that automates tedious tasks, provides managers with live insights, and gives executives predictive visibility. The platform integrates with Salesforce and analyzes thousands of in‑person sales conversations to surface insights, automate workflows, and drive better outcomes. Backed by $75M in funding and investors such as Index, Fika, CRV, and SignalFire, Siro serves leading home‑improvement, retail, hospitality, and automotive brands.
About the role
We are hiring a Director of Product Design to own design at Siro end‑to‑end. This hands‑on leadership role partners with Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to reinvent how thousands of in‑person sales teams work. You will shape the design language, systems, and AI interactions that power our mobile and web experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own product craft and quality—consistency, polish, and delight.
- Build the design system, patterns, and principles that scale as the company grows.
- Design mobile and web app surfaces and AI interactions.
- Rapidly prototype ideas using AI tooling and bring the team into the loop.
- Plan and execute user research, including in‑person customer visits and ride‑alongs.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal debates.
- Partner with senior leadership and the founder/CEO to frame problems, influence the roadmap, and set product direction.
- Elevate the taste of PMs and engineers making design decisions without direct oversight.
Requirements
- 8+ years designing products with quantifiable success.
- Exceptional interaction and visual craft; able to articulate why something feels off and how to fix it.
- AI‑native: prototype daily with modern AI tools and fluent enough with code to make concepts real.
- Systems thinker who still cares about pixel‑perfect details (e.g., 4 px decisions).
- Customer‑obsessed: willing to spend a day in the field rather than only in planning docs.
- Credible with senior leaders; can influence strategy through reasoning and research and challenge founders or engineering leads constructively.
- Continues to design by choice; mentoring or leading designers is welcome, but the focus is on craft, judgment, and influence—not headcount.
- Thrives in ambiguity, tackles tough problems, and meets high expectations.
Why Siro
- Define what Design means at Siro—the standard, the systems, and the scope of influence.
- Shape the product language for a newly invented category: in‑person sales, the largest and most underserved slice of selling.
- Work on a genuinely hard problem that combines messy spoken conversation, fragmented business systems, field execution, and AI agents.
- Build for users who love the product: reps rely on it, sales leaders evangelize it, and you’ll hear their gratitude in person.
- Operate on a small, senior team at a high‑growth Series B company with real product‑market fit and direct access to the Founder‑CEO.
