Director of Presales Engineering

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Presales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves partnering with Account Executives to understand customer goals, configuring our software to highlight its strengths, and delivering tailored demos that demonstrate the value of the BriteCore Platform.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer goals, gather requirements and align BriteCore’s capabilities with their needs
• Design and deliver customized demos and proposals that tell a clear story of value
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support revenue growth through technical insight and solution design
• Share customer feedback and observations with Product and Engineering to guide future development
• Train and enable the Sales and Marketing teams on our Platform’s functionality and technical differentiators
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot demo and trial environments to ensure a smooth experience
• Analyze customer documentation to identify opportunities and potential gaps
• Represent BriteCore as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert during customer meetings and industry events
• Up to 50% of domestic overnight travel is required for this role

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Presales Engineer working at a B2B SaaS company
• 3+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, supporting a SaaS platform
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a structured approach to challenges
• Proven experience translating technical information into language that’s easy for non-technical audiences to understand
• Excellent presentation, collaboration and problem solving skills
• Comfort with system configuration and technical troubleshooting
• Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and sound judgment
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to adapt your approach based on your audience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working as a Python Backend Engineer
• Experience as a Salesforce administrator

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

This is a fully remote based role, however candidates must be located in the US.
