Director of Post Construction Cleaning
Job Skills / Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required. Alternatively, 7+ years of relevant management experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
- PMP Certification is highly desirable.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Experience in Construction, Construction Cleaning, or Janitorial Industry is highly preferred.
- Experience understanding budgets, P/L, and forecasting.
- Critical process improvement mindset view.
- Structured and highly organized.
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, deadline-focused.
- Able to deliver exceptional quality service to our customers.
- Proficient with MS Office- especially Outlook 365 and comfortable using other software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately review and process data. Ability to establish priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations and sales.
- Create a culture of success, ongoing business, and goal achievement. Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to CEO for consideration.
- Implement processes and systems that will generate higher productivity and revenues.
- Provide the best possible experience to our clients.
- Provide constructive feedback to our subcontractors and team members. Select qualified subcontractors and supervise their performance throughout each project.
- Propose additional services.
- Assist with ongoing net promoter scores from our clients.
- Lead Job Costing meetings to review margin performance.
- Guide rescheduling jobs, as priorities come in from the clients.
- Interact regularly with individual department heads to ensure that company’s operational priorities are aligned with the company direction.
- Serve as the primary construction cleaning representative on all government matters.
- Review and approve project budgets and schedules. Review bids for accuracy. Review financial reports and act when required to achieve desired profitability.
- Maintain an effective business development program, securing profitable work on a routine basis.
- Support and assist sales account managers with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Represent the company and network in industry organizations.
- Responsible for the full life cycle of business operations including subcontractor negotiations, procurement, business development, and strategy. Effectively manage department budget.
Work Environment
- You must be comfortable working on Construction sites, working on uneven surfaces, and sometimes wearing a hard hat and work boots.
- You will be required to frequently inspect the projects and may be exposed to various weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
- This position is performed in both outside weather conditions and in a professional office environment.
