DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY

Cardinal Health, which employs the Director of Outpatient Pharmacy at Orange City Area Health System, is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Pharmacy.

About the role

The Director of Pharmacy will oversee all pharmacy operations, including medication management, inventory control, and staff training. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, including medication management, inventory control, and staff training
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to support pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services
• Manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Iowa
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy management experience
• Experience in outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
