About the role
Advance a patient safety program that promotes a culture of safety and the elimination of avoidable harm.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement patient safety initiatives
- Conduct root cause analyses and develop action plans to prevent adverse events
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Evaluate and improve existing policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff members
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
Requirements
- Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS) required
- CPHRM required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related field required
- Clinical background required
- Three to five years healthcare experience in patient safety, risk, and/or quality required
- Healthcare experience should be recent and within a clinical setting such as Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, etc.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
