Director of Patient Care Services
Job Summary
The Market Director of Patient Safety provides strategic leadership for patient safety, high reliability, event management, and harm reduction initiatives across multiple hospitals and ambulatory settings within a market or region. This role collaborates with executive leadership, medical staff, quality leaders, risk management, and clinical operations to foster a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce preventable harm, and drive continuous performance improvement. Dotted line reporting structure to Corporate Patient Safety Director.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Master's Degree Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, or related field required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 7 years of combined experience in clinical practice and progressive healthcare leadership experience with 2 years of experience in Patient Safety, Quality, Risk Management, or healthcare operations
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Multi-facility, market, or system level leadership experience strongly preferred

Additional Certification such as CPHRM or CPHQ
