Director of Outpatient Services (IOP/PHP)

About the role

Aurora Behavioral Health System is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services (IOP/PHP) to lead their Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at their Glendale campus. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the IOP and PHP programs
• Ensure clinical excellence and compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Monitor program effectiveness, patient outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives
• Foster referral relationships and support community outreach efforts
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve organizational goals
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental budgets
• Ensure continuity of care across the behavioral health continuum
• Participate in strategic planning, program development, and growth initiatives
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered treatment environment

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required in a behavioral health-related field
• Licensure: Must Possess One Of The Following Arizona Licenses: LCSWLMSWLMFTLAMFTLISACLASACLPCLAC
• Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health and/or hospital experience in clinical inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• Experience in psychiatric and substance use treatment programs
• Experience developing, growing, and managing programs preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Current fingerprint clearance requirements
• Negative TB test or medical clearance
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Current Therapeutic Options (TO) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
