About the role

The Director of Operations & Technology is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's technology infrastructure and operational processes. This includes managing IT systems, ensuring data security, and supporting the smooth functioning of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technology infrastructure including hardware, software, and network management.
• Ensure data security protocols are in place and regularly updated to protect sensitive information.
• Manage and train staff on technology tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing technology teams.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
