About the role
The Director of Operations at Generation Trust Law Group plays a crucial role in enabling leadership to focus on expansion and strategic initiatives. By managing day-to-day operations across our dual-state offices, this role ensures consistent, efficient processes and true operational harmony.
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic operational partner to the President by preparing leadership meeting agendas, facilitating follow-through on key initiatives, and helping drive execution of firm priorities.
Own the company performance dashboard, serving as a conduit to leadership by curating and reporting key data on a consistent basis.
Lead the employee experience from onboarding through offboarding by creating consistent, high-quality processes that support employee success.
Maintain HR compliance, coordinate Mutual Accountability meetings, oversee personnel documentation, coordinate annual employee handbook updates and acknowledgments, and partner with leadership to support employee development, engagement, and organizational growth.
Foster a highly functional, collaborative workplace by ensuring teams have the resources, systems, and support needed to perform at their best. Oversee office operations, facilities, vendors, equipment, and administrative processes while promoting consistency across multiple office locations. Act as a central resource for resolving operational challenges, improving workflows, and strengthening communication and collaboration among team members.
Care for financial operations by coordinating client deposits and overseeing the operational flow of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Partner with leadership to monitor receivables, participate in AR strategy meetings, and help ensure financial processes are timely, accurate, and aligned with firm objectives.
Champion a culture of accountability by leading weekly scorecard meetings, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying operational gaps, and driving follow-through on action items. Collaborate with leadership to develop meaningful role-specific KPIs and reporting that support individual and firm-wide success.
Serve as a steward of the firm's culture by modeling its core values and fostering an environment built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support leaders in creating an engaged, high-performing team while helping navigate change, reinforcing expectations, and strengthening communication across the organization.
Requirements
Experience Required: 3–5+ years in operations or office management, ideally in multi-site environments. Legal industry experience is not required.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree is required.
Key Traits: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to build relationships quickly, process-driven with high emotional intelligence.
Problem-Solving Ability: Must be proactive and comfortable in difficult conversations, with a focus on maintaining culture while ensuring accountability.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using or learning QuickBooks, Clio, Dropbox, and Microsoft-based technology platform, as these are the primary tools used for financial administration, client data, and day-to-day operations.
Leadership Style: Comfortable leading with influence rather than authority, embracing autonomy and ownership.
Qualifications
This is an in-person role based in our Tampa, FL office. Travel to other locations will be necessary periodically.

Performance-Focused Schedule: Work Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, for a 36-hour work week while being compensated for 40 hours.

$80,000 - $100,000 annually
